Rankin to be Chaplain at SMU

Stephen Rankin, a leader in Southwestern College’s academic and religious life since 1995, has accepted a position as chaplain at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Rankin has been SC’s campus minister, as well as chairing the philosophy and religious studies department. He also has been instrumental in the founding and development of the Discipleship Southwestern program. “We wish Steve all the best at SMU, and know he will always be a Builder,” said President Dick Merriman.
